Dollchan 8: Infinity
Main Features:
You play as an amnesiac ex-Monolith, slowly discovering that your forgotten identity is deeply tied to the secrets of the Zone. Set just after the shut down of the Brain Scorcher, Dollchan 8: Infinity reimagines the plot of Shadow of Chernobyl in an expanded world, built on the Call of Chernobyl engine.
Exploration is the mod's strongest point, with brand new and reworked locations, dynamic A-Life, new mutants, and an expanded weapon pack. There's even a hidden questline for those who want to discover weirder, unconventionnal secrets.
The mod is also notorious for its harsh balance, grindy progression, frustrating survival mechanics, and frequent crashes. It's an ambitious experiment, buggy and unpolished, but packed with a great atmosphere and ideas you won't find anywhere else.
- + First major story mod on Call of Chernobyl
- + Redesigned new locations
- + Great weapon pack
- - Poor balance
- - Annoying survival mechanics
- - Falls off after a great 1st act
