Main Features:
Legend Returns is a freeplay-driven S.T.A.L.K.E.R. mod that blends restored cut content, new mechanics, and multiple faction storylines into one atmospheric experience.
Each faction comes with its own quests, perks, and challenges. The mod adds an expanded weapon pack, a detailed skill system, a demanding economy, new anomalies, psi-storms, and cut mutants brought back from early builds.
Built on Call of Chernobyl, it perfectly captures the eerie feel of the original games, keeps performance stable and offers plenty of side quests and exploration. Whether you join Sin, Duty, Clear Sky, or Monolith, the Zone here is harsh, unpredictable, and full of ways to test your survival.

Download & Installation
Installation Instructions
Requires Dependencies found in "Essentials" at the top of the page.
Extract Archive, move game folder to the root of your drive
Launch the mod using "Launch Legend Returns.bat".
On first launch, reset weather & lighting settings to default.
Troubleshooting & Tips
- Headbob fix: Open console with ~ and use the command “cam_inert 0.001”
- Some quests can break if important NPCs die: Make regular saves in case you need to rollback
- Mutant spawns are very high: You can lower spawn rates in config
