The Journey
Main Features:
It's been twenty years since the events in Call of Pripyat. The Zone is slowly fading away. The great factions are gone, and most stalkers have left their place to wild animals. Only small groups of bandits and Monolith roam the place, clinging to the ruins of a decaying world. When your brother mysteriously disappears, you have no choice but to step into this old, cursed place.
The gameplay in the Journey is deliberately slow and stripped down to minimalistic levels. No minimap, quest markers, trading, repairs, artifact, or even economy. Quests are delivered entirely through dialogue, making attention to detail and a love for exploration essential. It might look outdated and rough around the edges, but give it a chance, and its unique vision will offer a deeply immersive and memorable experience.
- + Great Premise & Atmosphere
- + New locations to explore
- + Hand-drawn PDA map
- - Untracked objectives can be confusing
- - Simple, predictable story
- - Frustrating gunplay
